Meet Rosa C. Ramirez, LCSW

Rosa Ramirez’s clinical background is very extensive and diverse in nature. She has provided clinical counseling and psychotherapy by conducting assessment and treatment to children, adolescents, adults and seniors. Her treatment modalities include individual, couple, groups and family psychotherapy. Her scope of work covers dual disordered individuals with chronic illnesses, child, handicapped, elderly abuse, sexual abuse, domestic violence. Rosa also has experience working with pregnant teens, therapeutic foster care, kinship care, parenting and family support. She also has management and program development experience in the areas of early education and family counseling and support. In the early 90’s Rosa moved from Puerto Rico to the United States and has worked in the Tampa Bay Area for over 20 years.

La experiencia profesional de Rosa Ramirez es muy extensa y diversa en naturaleza. Ella ha ofrecido consejería clínica o psicoterapia mediante la evaluación y tratamiento de niños(as), adolescentes, adultos y personas de la tercera edad. Su modalidad de tratamiento incluye psicoterapia individual, de parejas, grupos y de familia.  Su ámbito abarca el trabajo con individuos con trastornos duales, condiciones crónicas de salud, abuso de niños(as), discapacitados, envejecientes, abuso sexual, violencia doméstica, trabajo con adolescentes embarazadas, hogares de crianza terapeúticos, cuidado familiar, desempeño del rol de padres y servicios de apoyo a las familias. Ella tambien tiene experiencia administrativa y en desarrollo de programas en las areas de educación temprana,  consejería y apoyo a las familias. Rosa se mudó de Puerto Rico a los Estados Unidos y ha trabajado en el área de Tampa por más de 20 años.
